Dione Casey
My relationship with horses started when I was 8 years old riding Hunt Seat. I was introduced to Dressage when I attended Johnson and Wales University and I have been happily teaching and training for 21 years. When I studied at Johnson and Wales University I obtained an Associate in Science Degree in Equine Studies as well as a Bachelor of Science Management/Riding.
When attending Johnson and Wales I had the opportunity to train in England for 11 weeks. In addaition I had the great opportunity to be a working student with Pamela Goodrich for several years, and I continue to train with her today. I also trained with Roel Theunissen.
I have successfully competed many horses and have shown thru Intermediare I. Throughout my years of competing I earned the USDF Bronze and Silver medals. In the 2008 show season I had the honor to compete Gioioso, a wonderful young Prix St. George horse owned by Wendy Drumm.
